Bem-vindo ao Sandwich Sudoku Diário — um puzzle novo que aparece todos os dias à meia-noite. Ao contrário do nosso modo ilimitado de Sandwich Sudoku, a versão diária oferece-lhe um puzzle por dia idêntico para todos os jogadores do mundo. É uma reviravolta deliciosa no Sudoku clássico: os números de pistas à volta da grelha revelam a soma dos dígitos "intercalados" entre o 1 e o 9 em cada linha ou coluna, acrescentando uma nova camada de lógica dedutiva à familiar grelha 9×9.

Sandwich Sudoku was popularized by puzzle constructors in the 2010s and has since become a favourite on competition circuits. Our daily edition follows the newspaper-column tradition: one puzzle per day, progressively harder through the week, with modern features like streak tracking, a full archive, and instant sharing.

🥪 O que Torna o Sandwich Sudoku Único?

In a standard Sudoku, you deduce digits using only row, column, and box constraints. Sandwich Sudoku adds a powerful extra dimension: the sandwich sum. Each clue tells you the total of every digit trapped between the 1 and the 9 in its row or column, regardless of order. If the clue reads 0, it means the 1 and 9 sit side-by-side with nothing between them. If it reads 35 (the maximum), it means all seven middle digits — 2 through 8 — are sandwiched between them.

This extra information transforms the puzzle. You'll often be able to figure out where the 1 and 9 must go before you fill in any other digit, because the sandwich clue constrains their relative positions. A clue of 35 means 1 and 9 are at opposite ends of the row, while a clue of 0 means they're neighbours.

📋 Regras do Sandwich Sudoku Diário

1. Standard Sudoku — Fill every row, column, and 3×3 box with digits 1–9 exactly once.
2. Sandwich clues — Numbers outside the grid indicate the sum of all digits between the 1 and the 9 in that row or column.
3. Visible clues — Not all clues may be shown. Harder puzzles reveal fewer sandwich sums, forcing you to rely more on classic Sudoku logic.
4. One solution — Each puzzle has exactly one valid solution.

• Monday & Tuesday — Easy — More given digits and all 18 sandwich clues visible. Perfect for learning the variant.
• Wednesday & Thursday — Medium — Same clue count but fewer givens, requiring deeper deductions.
• Friday & Saturday — Hard — Fewer clues shown; cross-referencing rows and columns becomes essential.
• Sunday — Expert — Minimal givens and only 8 of 18 clues visible. Every clue counts.

🧠 Estratégias Chave para o Sandwich Sudoku

• Extreme-value clues first — Clues of 0 and 35 immediately constrain where 1 and 9 go. Process these before anything else.
• Count sandwiched digits — A clue of 2 means only the digit 2 is between 1 and 9. A clue of 3 means just the digit 3. Use this to narrow candidates.
• Cross-reference rows and columns — A cell at the intersection of two rows/columns with known sandwich clues gets double constraints.
• Use standard Sudoku last — Once you've placed the 1s and 9s using sandwich logic, classic elimination often fills the rest quickly.
