Our daily edition brings that tradition online: one puzzle per day, difficulty ramping up through the week, plus modern features like streak tracking, a complete archive, and instant sharing.

🔤 O que Torna o Wordoku Especial?

Wordoku replaces the digits 1–9 with nine unique letters. Solving the grid is exactly like Sudoku — you use row, column and box constraints to place each letter. But there's a bonus layer: the main diagonal (top-left to bottom-right) spells a real word. That word is scrambled into the nine letters you see on the numpad, and discovering it is part of the fun.

Some solvers like to figure out the word first and lock in the diagonal, then complete the rest of the grid. Others solve purely by logic and let the word reveal itself at the end. Both approaches work — pick whatever feels most satisfying!

📋 Regras do Wordoku Diário

1. Standard Sudoku — Fill every row, column and 3×3 box with each of the nine letters exactly once.
2. Letters not digits — The nine numpad buttons show letters instead of numbers. Keyboard letter-input is also supported.
3. Hidden word — The main diagonal (top-left → bottom-right) spells a 9-letter word when the puzzle is complete.
4. One solution — Every puzzle has exactly one valid solution.

• Monday & Tuesday — Easy — 40 given letters. A relaxed start to the week.
• Wednesday & Thursday — Medium — 32 givens. Standard challenge.
• Friday & Saturday — Hard — 26 givens. Deep deduction needed.
• Sunday — Expert — Just 22 givens. The ultimate weekend brain-teaser.

🧠 Estratégias Chave do Wordoku

• Guess the word early — If you can form a 9-letter word from the available letters, fill the diagonal first for a head start.
• Use letter frequency — Some letters appear more often in row/column intersections. Just like number-scanning in regular Sudoku, scan for the most-placed letter first.
• Box-line reduction — When a letter can only go in one row within a box, eliminate it from that row in other boxes.
• Pencil marks matter more — With letters, it's harder to keep track mentally. Use notes generously.
